Biography

2022-23:

One of the top sprinting options for the Oaks…participated in the 100, 200 and 400 meters during the season…ran a season best 51.39 in the 400 meters at the Kim Duyst Invitational…ran a season best 23.20 in the 200 meters at the Sunshine Indoor Open & Combined Events.

Previous Experience:

Ryan prepped at Palos Verdes High School where he split time as a sprinter and a jumper.  Ryan ran the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m races in high school, winning the 400m Bay League Title as a junior and senior, and running anchor in the league champion 4x100m team as a senior.  His terrific prep career caught the attention of Marymount California Head Coach Kristy Shapiro, who offered him a chance to continue his track career just down the road for the Mariners.  While at Marymount, Ryan competed in both cross country and track and field, where he broke the school's 600m race record with a time of 1:25.95.  Ryan's other PRs include 11.26 in the 100m, 22.51 in the 200m, 49.64 in the 400m, and 2:04.28 in the 800m.  Ryan's 400m time would be good enough for top-10 in Menlo history.
