2022-23:

Led the Oaks as a freshman…was named the GSAC Freshman of the Year as well as GSAC Runner of the Month…reperstend Menlo at the NAIA Cross Country National meet running 26:12 in the 8K for the fastest time ever run at Nationals in Menlo history…ran a season best 25:26 for the 8K at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational…raced in multiple events during Track season…posted a 3000 meter season best of 8:47 at the Monterey Peninsula Premiere…ran a season best 4:08 in the 1500 meters at the Cardinal Classic…ran a season best 15:13 in the 5000 meters at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic.

Previous Experience:

Over the past few years, Emmanuel has established himself as one of the most impressive young runners in the country of Guatemala.  He won the under-18 Guatemalan National Championship in the 1500m in 2021 and hit big PRs in the 3000m and 5000m distances this year.  Emmanuel's PR time of 8:55 in the 3000m would rank him in the top-5 in program history in that distance, while his 15:53 PR in the 5000m is just a few seconds away from being in the top-10 in Menlo Track History.
