Previous Experience:

While at Ayala, Campos began competing at the varsity level in his freshman year.  Beginning his career focussing on the 5K cross country course and the 2 mile race on the track, Campos quickly diversified his arsenal into his latter high school years, running the 400m, 800m, 1600m and 5000m races on the track.  He showed steady improvement in each and every event throughout his prep career, culminating in an individual Palomares League Cross Country title as senior.  That year, Campos helped lead his squad to a fourth place finish at the State Championship.  The PRs for Campos sit at 15:54.0 for 3 mile cross country, 2:14.04 for the 800m, 4:47.44 for the mile, and 10:10.47 for the 2 mile.  Campos's 2 mile time is on par with some of the best to ever run at Menlo College.
