Biography

2022-23:

Participated in five races during Cross Country season…contributed to the teams victory at the Jessup Warrior Invitational running 26:46…ran a season best 26:12 for the 8K at the GSAC Finals meet.

Previous Experience:

Alex Kemei hails from Eldoret, Kenya and attended Kapkeben High School.  Kemei joins his fellow countryman Jacob Kipyego, and will look to make an immediate impact in the medium to long distance events.  This Spring, Alex competed in four events and four different distances (800m, 1500m, 3000m, and 5000m).  Just one semester into his collegiate career, Kemei's name already appears twice in the Menlo Record Books, having run the eighth fastest 3000m race in program history (9:07.25, Jim Linthicum Invitational) and the seventh fastest 5000m race (15:36.35, Kim Duyst Invitational).
