Biography

2022-23:

Mainly competed during Track & Field season…represented the Oaks in the middle distances, primarily the 1500 meters…ran a season best 4:46 at the GSAC Finals.

Previous Experience:

After a season of playing basketball, Carlos joined the cross country and track teams at his high school, making varsity as a sophomore.  He broke 18:20 in his second career cross country 5K as a sophomore.  Two years later, as a senior, Carlos consistently ran sub 18 minute 5Ks, with his career best sitting at 17:48.9. On the track, Carlos focussed on middle distances, with the mile being his specialty distance.  As a senior, Carlos ran his first sub five minute mile at 4:54.1.  He also would PR in the 800m distance this year, with a career best time of 2:12.7.
