De Anza College:

A junior transfer from nearby De Anza College, Madison Michelis (Woodside, Calif.) is set to don the Navy and White in 2015-16 as she recently signed to join the Oaks.  Michelis posted a pair of successful seasons at De Anza College and was a two-time First Team All-Conference honoree, helping the team to a conference title as a freshman.

In her inaugural season at De Anza, she averaged 10 points and seven rebounds per game off the bench, earning her a starting spot as a sophomore. She took advantage of that role, averaging 22 points and 12 rebounds per game as a sophomore good for 5th in scoring and 6th in rebounding in the state of California. Michelis posted a career best effort against 2014-15 state champion Chabot scoring 38 points with 17 rebounds. She also put up 40 points and a career high 25 rebounds in games during her impressive season in which the team finished second in the conference.

Michelis played her prep ball at nearby Woodside High School where she was a three-time team MVP and All-Conference selection. She helped her team to its first ever CCS Championship berth as a senior, a season in which she averaged 18 points and 17 rebounds per game.
