In her first season as Team Captain, Brittany Taylor helped lead Menlo to one of their strongest seasons in the past three years with a 9-3 conference record. Brittany has been "Mrs. Reliable" for the Lady Oaks, being the only player to start every game this season while averaging a team high 33.5 minutes per game. Brittany showed her "do it all" ability in a critical conference game against William Jessup back on January 22, 2011. Not only did she score 16 points, but also added 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals while shooting 60% from the field and 50% from three point territory in the Oaks 71-55 victory.

Personal

Parents: Schanta and Cass Taylor. Brittany has shown her "do it all" ability off the court, as she is involved with a number of jobs and campus activities. Brittany is a member of the Black Student Union, an intern in the Menlo Sports Information Department, holds a job at the Stanford University Dining Hall, and has also been an assistant coach at her high school alma mater. She was also a member of the Spring 2009 Dean's List.
