Kaitlyn Marie Reclusado Wins 2026 Pan American Poomsae Championship

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil – Menlo Taekwondo standout poomsae athlete Kaitlyn Marie Reclusado added another international medal to her growing résumé, capturing the gold medal at the 2026 Pan American Taekwondo Championships over the weekend.
 
Competing against the top poomsae athletes across the Americas, Reclusado delivered another championship performance to claim the top spot. Guatemala's Higueros Alejandra earned the silver medal behind Reclusado, while Puerto Rico's Media Arelis secured the bronze.
 
The gold medal marks yet another accomplishment for Reclusado, who continues to establish herself as one of the premier poomsae competitors in the world and a standout representative of the Menlo Taekwondo program.
 
Up Next
With more world recognition to their name, the Oaks will look towards more competition in the states at the American Open West from June 12-14 in Tucson, AZ.
