TEMPE, AZ – Winners of three consecutive matches, Menlo Women's Tennis broke new ground this week as the Oaks were recognized among the nation's top 50 NCAA Division II programs by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for the first time to date. Menlo, led by junior
Zofia Dziewiecka's national singles ranking, holds the No. 44 spot overall, checking in ahead of No. 45 Dominican and No. 50 Biola among other Pacific West Conference programs.

A key contributor to the Oaks' victories over UC Santa Cruz (
Feb. 8), Jessup (
Feb. 20), Stanislaus State (
Feb. 28), and Dominican (
Mar. 1), Dziewiecka finds herself ranked 70th nationally in singles play while boasting a 6-2 record. The current
PacWest Player of the Week has put together victories in three consecutive matches, besting the top singles competitors from Jessup, Stan State, and Dominican over the past two weeks.
