Absolutely locked in defensively throughout two games for Menlo Women's Basketball, Carter began by collecting 12 steals, the second-most single-game total in PacWest history, to go with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists in a 74-63 win over Cal State East Bay on November 20. With no fewer than three steals in each of the second, third, and fourth quarters of the contest, the Oakland native led the Oaks’ comeback. Carter did not slow down two days later, racking up six more thefts plus eight points, four rebounds, and a block versus Chico State on November 22. Her performances earned her PacWest Defender of the Week honors as she now leads the conference in averaging 5.3 steals per game.
