History was made this week for Menlo Baseball as senior outfielder Justin Flannery became the first player in program history to be named PacWest Player of the Week since joining the NCAA Division II conference. The 5’10 standout from Murrieta, California, delivered an electric performance in a four-game series split against conference-leading Biola, going 10-for-15 with 10 RBIs, 10 runs scored, and four home runs. On Friday alone, Flannery went 4-for-6 with three homers, six runs, and three RBIs, followed by a 6-for-9 day on Saturday with seven RBIs, a homer, a double, four runs scored, and a stolen base. A former GSAC Golden Glove All-Conference honoree, Flannery has continued to shine in his senior season, leading the Oaks with a .324 average, 45 hits, six homers, and nine stolen bases across 38 starts. Flannery celebrates his senior weekend this upcoming week against Westmont on Friday and Saturday.
