The 6’5” senior opposite from El Dorado Hills delivered a standout performance in his final match as an Oak at the MPSF Men’s Volleyball Championship Tournament. Facing off against Stanford, Connell put together one of his best outings of the season, tallying a season-high 9 kills while hitting an impressive .412 on the night. He also showcased his all-around game, picking up 1 service ace, 2 digs, and 2 block assists to finish with 11 total points.

Connell’s relentless play helped push Stanford to the edge, leading the Oaks to a first-set victory and keeping them within striking distance throughout the match. His performance showcased Menlo’s toughness and competitive spirit on one of the biggest stages of the season. Although the Oaks ultimately came up short, Connell’s versatility, resilience, and leadership left a lasting mark on the program, perfectly embodying what it means to be an Oak. He capped off his Menlo career with personal bests across the board this season, finishing with 85 kills, 15 service aces, 30 digs, 67 blocks, and 176.5 total points. We wish Connell the very best in all his future endeavors and know he will continue to make the Menlo family proud wherever his journey takes him.
