In her two seasons in Menlo blue Mikayela has been one of the Oaks strongest players, doing it on the rubber and in the batter's box. From a pitching standpoint Mikayela's best performance came in Menlo's first win of the 2011 season back on February 12 against Northwest Christian. The sophomore from Reedley, CA tossed a complete game two hitter and allowed just one earned run in the Lady Oaks 3-2 victory.

Personal
Parents: Christina and Michael Viramontes. Not only has Mikayela been able to excel on the diamond, but she has also taken her talents off the field and into the Menlo community. Mikayela is an active member of the Hawaii Club and works in the Student Union.
