Jessica shows a lot of potential as the Oaks' hard-hitting first baseman. The freshman from Citrus Heights, CA continues to provide Menlo's lineup with some serious pop and her defense is improving game by game. Jessica showed off her offensive skills during a doubleheader back on February 26, 2011 against Dominican University. Soliai went 2 for 4 in the first game of the twin bill including a clutch 7th inning single that almost won the game for the Lady Oaks.

 

High School- El Camino High School

· 2010: Team MVP. Member of the Optimist Team. All-League

· 2007: Coaches Award. All-League.

 

Personal

 

Parents: Dennette and Gafoa Soliai. Jessica is one of three siblings and since coming to Menlo she has been involved in a number of different campus activities including being a member of the Hawaii Club and the Performance Club. While in high school, Jessica played in the televised All-American game in Colorado. In the game she took on fellow teammate and current roommate Stephanie Gilbert.
