Menlo College

2018:

​Appeared in 43 games for the Oaks, making 38 starts during his senior season...finished with the fourth highest batting average on the team with a mark of .330, while also hitting two home runs and driving in 21 runs...added six other extra base hits and three stolen bases, scoring 19 times...threw the most innings on the team in 2018, tossing 83 frames across 14 starts...record of 6-5 with three total complete games...struck out 67 to also lead the Oaks...all three complete games came in a four-start span beginning at the end of February.

2017:

​Appeared in 25 games for the Oaks and made six starts during his junior season...used primarily as a pitcher early on, threw 19.2 innings in eight appearances with a 2-0 record and a 5.49 ERA...added 14 at bats with a home run and three runs batted in...season was cut short due to a hand injury, focing him to pinch running duties, where he scored 10 times.

Scouting Report:

Was named the SVC Hot Stove Southern California player of the year after serving as the ace for Santa Barbara City College…went 8-2 with a 2.19 ERA in 102.2 innings of work as a sophomore… proven winner and strike thrower…currently has 15 wins in his two-year college career and has experience pitching in big games.

"Justin adds tremendous stability to our staff. He knows how to pitch and makes hitters earn their way on base. I have no doubt he will contribute in a huge way to our program both on and off the field. He's originally from the bay area, so we are really glad he'll get to pitch in front of family and friends back in his home town."
