SAN DIEGO, CA – Though Menlo Women's Basketball and Point Loma were separated by just three points after the first quarter, strong second and third frames put the Sea Lions in position to take the 78-62 Pacific West Conference rematch Thursday night inside Golden Gymnasium.

Alberte Frisch who added four assists and two rebounds as well

Kimberly Ceron-Romero impressed once again with 11 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks to match her season-high
-Along with her 10 points,
Jayonnah Carter had four steals to give her 14 thefts in her last four games
Big Final Quarter For Menlo Not Enough For Comeback
After senior guard
Alberte Frisch scored six quick points in the opening two minutes of action, Point Loma executed a 7-0 run that helped the home team build a 13-10 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Sea Lion steals were the story in the second quarter as five thefts came in a two-minute span that saw PLNU go up 29-13. Though Menlo stayed relatively even with their opponents for the remainder of the half, the lead was 36-19 at the break.
The margin remained around 20 points until midway through the fourth quarter when a triple by graduate student guard
Laila Saenz initiated a 9-2 surge capped by consecutive scores by redshirt freshman guard/forward
Kimberly Ceron-Romero. The Oaks would come no closer than 14 points, however, with Point Loma holding on to win 78-62.
