SAN DIEGO, CA – In a game that came down to the final possession, Menlo Men's Basketball battled fiercely but fell just short, dropping a 69-67 decision to Point Loma Nazarene at Golden Gymnasium. The Oaks showcased determination and resilience, pushing the PacWest's top team to the brink in a thrilling showdown.

The first half was tightly contested, featuring six ties and multiple lead changes. Menlo trailed 40-32 at halftime but surged back in the second half, using aggressive defense and clutch shooting to tie the game in the final minutes. The Oaks capitalized on turnovers, scoring 17 points off Point Loma's 16 giveaways.
With under 10 seconds remaining, Menlo had an opportunity to tie or take the lead, but a contested three-pointer rimmed out, allowing Point Loma to escape with the victory. Despite the loss, Menlo outrebounded the Sea Lions 35-25 and controlled the paint with 28 points inside.
