ATHERTON, CA – Returning back home from a three-game road trip, men's volleyball took down the Hawks of New Paltz in straight sets. The Oaks were able to dominate every set winning 25-20, 25-13, and 25-15 to finish the night off.

Offensive Showcase
The Oaks opened the match off with high efficiency on offense with a .438 hitting percentage to start the night off. The Oaks collected 9 kills with 1 ace as New Paltz struggled serving with 11 errors, winning the set 25-20. The second set saw the Oaks pick up their offense by earning 16 kills while having a .438 hitting percentage and 2 aces. Defensively, the Oaks were able to accumulate 3 locks on top of an already dominating performance. Menlo was able to seal the match with another strong performance in the third set collecting 9 kills, 2 aces, 8 digs, and 2 blocks. New Paltz continued to struggle serving with 7 errors as the Oaks cruised to a 25-15 third set to secure the win.

Key Performers
Mustafa Selcuk Uyar was the standout hitter as he collected 11 kills while having an amazing .611 hitting percentage. Uyar also picked up 1 ace and 1 block assist for a total 12.5 points for the Oaks. Wojciech Nowak was another reliable and contributor for the Oaks as he recorded 10 kills on a .571 hitting percentage. William Lawler orchestrated the offense with ease, assisting his teammates 25 times to showcase how lethal the Oaks offense was tonight.
