Menlo Men’s Basketball Stands Tall Against High-Caliber Fresno Pacific

ATHERTON, CA – In a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats, Menlo Men's Basketball showed remarkable strength and resilience, securing a thrilling 76-64 victory over Fresno Pacific. The Oaks demonstrated their ability to rise to the occasion against a high-quality PacWest opponent, making this a game to celebrate.


 

Standout Performers 

Today, the Oaks shined bright across the board….

  • Landon Seaman led the charge with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line. He added 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in a commanding performance.

  • Kareem Rowe was a force on both ends, contributing 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals while playing 32 minutes of intense basketball.

  • Nick Davidson showcased his versatility, scoring 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting and grabbing 2 rebounds, while also dishing out 2 assists.

  • Patrick Ryan made his presence felt on the boards, pulling down a team-high 8 rebounds and adding 2 points and 2 assists.


 

Resilient and Ready

From the opening tip, both teams traded baskets in a tightly contested matchup that featured six lead changes and five ties. Menlo's defense was relentless, forcing 14 Fresno Pacific turnovers and converting those into 16 points. The Oaks also dominated in the paint, scoring 40 points inside compared to Fresno Pacific's 34.

Menlo held their ground and pulled ahead in the second half, sealing the game with timely plays and a strong fourth-quarter surge. The Oaks shot an impressive 50.9% from the field and held Fresno Pacific to just 25% shooting from beyond the arc.
