Rocklin, CA- Another day in the GSAC, another dogfight on the court. Menlo Women's Basketball spent the full 40 minutes going toe to toe with their northern California rival, Jessup University. Unfortunately, as the final buzzer sounded the Oaks were unable to secure the road victory, falling by a final score 56-61.
Alberte Frisch Paces the Team on Her BirthdayÂ
On a night where offense was hard to come by, sophomore guard Alberte Frisch led the way with 12 points and two steals in just 18 minutes of play. Frisch has carved out a role as one of the most dangerous "6th Man" players in the league. On the season Frisch is now up to 10 points per game to go along with close to two assists and three rebounds a contest as well. Frisch has become the perfect embodiment of one of this particular Menlo squads greatest attributes, their depth.

With two conference games left Menlo will wrap up GSAC play down in southern California. Their first stop will be a rematch with Life Pacific. Earlier this year the Oaks won their first meeting with the Warriors in convincing fashion thanks to a combined 38 points and 16 boards from Kiara Brown and Jasmyne Huggins. The final game of the conference season will be played against the Masters who Menlo defeated 96-83 inside Haynes-Prim Pavilion. During that game six Oaks scored in double figures as they collectively shot 60% from the floor and 57% from three!
