SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Menlo Women's Volleyball headed to San Francisco, CA to take down Academy of Art ofr the second time this season in three straight sets. The Oaks are on a roll as they are now on a three-game win streak looking to continue the momentum heading into their next competition.

Early Dominance
In the first set of the match, Menlo decided to establish their dominance early on with a series of kills and blocks. The set saw five tied scores and a few early lead changes, but Menlo's offensive pressure and solid defense helped them pull away by the midpoint of the set. Towards the end of the set, The Oaks forced Academy of Art into multiple attacking errors and blocks that sealed the set 25-18. In the second set, Menlo continued their solid all-around play. Early in the set, Menlo again established multiple point runs in order to gain a comfortable lead. Academy of Art wouldn't back down, but the Oaks offense and defense just proved too much to handle, as the Oaks took the second 25-19. In the third and final set of the match, Academy of Art pushed Menlo's limits all the way to the final points of the match. Art U put up a fierce challenge as they briefly took the lead as their offensive play tightened up. With no clear picture of who was going to take the third set, Menlo was able to regain control in the last quarter of the set with critical kills and service aces that closed out the set and the match 25-21! This victory marks Menlo's third-straight PacWest conference victory, and they look to carry this momentum as they push for further success in conference play.
