Men's Volleyball Back In Win Column After A Dordt Sweep

ATHERTON, CA -- Men's Volleyball dominated against RV Dordt University as they swept tonight, 3-0. The scoreline ended 25-21, 25-17, 25-21.  The Oaks overpower the Defenders on every stat line today!


Oaks Overpower
In a side-by-side comparison, Menlo was the better team in every stat. Menlo was able to land 49 kills hitting at .307% on the day where Dordt was only able to land 27 to hit a .157%. Menlo wracked up 5 aces, four of them coming from Konrad Stoklosinski and one from Christian Menchaca. Menlo blocked Dordt 3 times compared to their 1 block. Menlo almost doubled their assists with 44 compared to Dordt's 25. And Digs, were the same story, 44 digs from the Oaks against 28 digs from the Defenders.  


Triple Threat
Three Oaks were able to tally 41 of their 49 kills on the day. Their names are Konrad Stoklosinski (15), Edin Ibrahimovic (13), and Julius Stiemer (13). Stoklosinski led the court also providing 4 aces, 10 digs, and a block assist. Stiemer hit at .435% today which is one of his best performances thus far into his freshman season. These three men top the team in kills on the season landing 73% of all kills by Menlo. An absolute powerhouse offensively and these three are some of the main contributors on the court!

Menlo is still at home this weekend taking on the Arizona's! First hosting the Arizona Christian Firestorm on Friday March 10 at 6pm. Followed by another GSAC showdown against #6 OUAZ who is looking for vengeance after Menlo beat them in their own place last go-around. That will take place Saturday, March 11 at 1pm inside Haynes-Prim Pavilion!
