Atherton, CA- With Spring Break right around the corner Menlo Men's Volleyball has started their break with a decisive victory against the visiting Aquinas College Saints. The Oaks found their rhythm early and never looked back. Menlo would hold the Saints to under 20 points each set and saw strong contributions from all across the lineup.

Edin Ibrahimovic is HimThe senior out of Bosnia-Herzegovina has had a strong season up to this point as he currently sits seventh in the GSAC in total kills and is sixth in kills per set. In tonight's contest Ibrahimovic wasted no time establishing himself as one of the top players in the match. Through the first two sets the 6 '4 outside hitter led the Oaks with 12 kills and added three digs alongside and impressive solo block. With Ibrahimovic playing at a high level the Oaks are one of the most dangerous teams in the nation.

Christian Menchaca Does the Little Things
Another veteran on the team, Christian Menchaca, also continues to play well as the team's primary Libero. With most of his responsibilities coming on the defensive side of the net Menchaca does all the small things well for the Oaks. On the season the senior is second in the conference in digs per set and quickly added five more to his resume through the first two sets. He also put up a well rounded box score with two assists and a service ace.

Up Next…
This was a great win for the Oaks to get back on track prior to their next matchup. This coming Saturday Menlo faces conference rival The Master's University who currently sit one spot above them in the national standings. Earlier this season Menlo lost to the Mustangs in a back and forth, five set match. Now inside the confines of Haynes-Prim Pavilion the Oaks will look to get some revenge and climb the NAIA rankings.
