#8 MEN'S VOLLEYBALL REMAIN UNDEFEATED AFTER BEATING RV LOURDES AND #7 INDIANA TECH

GEORGETOWN, KY – #8 Men's Volleyball stay strong in preseason as they remain undefeated after taking down RV Lourdes (3-1) and sweeping #7 Indiana Tech (3-0). The Oaks come back from the weekend 3-0 after competing with some of the higher ranked teams in the nation in Georgetown, Kentucky. 

The day started at 10am PT when they battled with RV Lourdes University. Chase Direito shined with 12 kills, hitting at .588%, 5 block assists, and 2 assists. Edin Ibrahimovic and Konrad Stoklosinski both earned 16 kills to lead the Oaks in kills. Lucas Larson did what he does best and dished out 42 assists and helped out on defense with 12 digs and a block assist. Christian Menchaca was back on the court for the Oaks and contributed with 13 digs. Menlo dominated the entire game and won sets 1,2, and 4 (25-21, 25-15, 20-25, and 25-19). 

They kept it rolling in the evening at 4pm PT against #7 Indiana Tech. Konrad Stoklosinski led in kills with 13. With 23 attack attempts that puts him at an effective .478 kills percentage. Edin Ibrahimavic had 10 kills and 6 digs. And who else but Lucas Larson continuing to add to Menlo's success with 34 assists. The Oaks swept and took all 3 sets (25-18, 25-23, 25-18). 

The Oaks come back home to Haynes-Prim Pavilion next Friday, February 10th at 2pm to take on the Pacific Union Pioneers!
