Jessica Rogers was named Menlo Associate Head Women’s Basketball Coach ahead of the 2024-25 season, assisting in the program's transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II and the Pacific West Conference, after serving as the program’s Assistant Coach for two years from 2022-24. A key part of the team's success, Coach Rogers has already contributed to the following:
- 57-30 Overall Record, 36-16 Conference Record.
- 2 Appearances in the GSAC Championship Game.
- Kiara Brown named an NAIA & WBCA Honorable Mention All-American.
- 6 Players Named to All-Conference Team.
- 2 Appearances in the NAIA National Tournament.
- 5 Players Entered Menlo Women’s Basketball Record Books.
- 16 Players Named Academic All-PacWest honorees.
- WBCA Academic Team Special Mention.
- 6 Players Named GSAC & NAIA Scholar Athletes.
- 2 Players Named Menlo Female Athlete of the Year.
On top of her work during the season, Coach Rogers has been at the forefront of Menlo’s offseason player development program, recruiting at various basketball events and continues to offer operational support such as travel logistics and social media management.
An alumnus of Menlo, Coach Rogers played all four years while enrolled at Menlo College, appearing in a whopping 108 games. A high basketball IQ player, Coach Rogers ran the offense as a point guard for Head Coach Shannon Spataro since her freshman season. On top of her leadership on the court, Coach Rogers was known to be a knock down free throw shooter, as her career free throw shooting percentage ranks in the top-15 in Menlo Women's Basketball program history.
Following her graduation from Menlo, Coach Rogers began her coaching career at Lincoln University across the Bay in Oakland, while working towards her MBA. In that time, she also worked as an Assistant Coach at her alma mater, Pinole Valley High School. Lastly, Coach Rogers served as an Assistant Coach on staff at Napa Valley College, before returning to Menlo.
