Tatum grew up in Broomfield, Colorado where she found herself immersed in the competitive realms of soccer, basketball, and softball, cultivating a deep-seated passion for athletics. She attended Colorado State University, where she pursued her degree in Health and Exercise Science and further fortified her understanding by obtaining her CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) credential.
Tatum has worked in various roles within the private sector, serving as an intern, Assistant Director and later Director of Sports Performance. After serving as Academy Strength Coach for the Colorado Rapids, she brought her experience working with all age-ranges to Kula Sports Performance and continued to refine her understanding of speed priority training through programming tailored for elite athletes, such as Anna Hall and Christian McCaffrey. Tatum is eager to express her passion for fostering community and equipping athletes with the strength and power necessary to express their skill on the stage of competition with Menlo Athletics.   Â
