Gerald Taberdo

Gerald “G” Taberdo joined Menlo College Sports Medicine staff in 2024. Prior to Menlo College, G worked at University of California, Berkeley as an Athletic Trainer Fellow for the Cal Men’s Rugby team. He then transitioned to the 2023 IFL National Champions, Bay Area Panthers as a Seasonal Athletic Trainer. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where he received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. He went on to Long Beach State University where he earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training.

During his time at LBSU, he was immersed in clinical rotations with LBSU Men’s Basketball and T&F/XC, UCLA Club Sports, Cypress College, and Mt. San Antonio College. In addition to his clinical rotations, G also served as a summer intern for the 3x Big Sky Conference Champions, Sacramento State Football team, and the G-league Ontario Clippers. Originally from Houston, Texas but also grew up in Los Angeles, CA. G is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC) and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
