Since coming to Menlo two years ago, Serina has been the heart and soul of the team on her way to earning the title of captain for her final season as an Oak. She is considered to be the team's catalyst as her blazing speed and ability to put the bat on the ball earned her the leadoff spot for the 2011 campaign. In a doubleheader earlier this season back on February 26, 2011 against Dominican, Serina had a dayto remember. The senior from Yucca Valley, CA went a combined 4 for 6 with three runs scored and two rbis.

Personal

Parents: Dawn and Gary Stephens. Serina is the only senior on the 2011 squad and is also the team's only transfer student. When she is not showing her leadership on the field, Serina is showing it within the Menlo community. She is a member of the Student Athletes Leadership Club and is also an Intern for Menlo's Sports Information Department.
