Started 15 games while appearing in all 18 during his junior campaign...led the team in assists with 7 and tied for the team lead with 29 shots...second among Oaks in shots on goal with 16...scored his lone goal of the season on Aug. 29 against UC Merced, a game-winner...tallied multiple assists in a game twice.
2014:
Appeared in 18 matches, making seven starts during sophomore season...scored a career-best seven goals and six assists, both ranking him third on the team...61.8% of seasons shots were on frame...recorded his first career hat trick on Nov. 7 in a conference match against Pacific Union...scored two goals on Oct. 7 against Simpson.
2013
Appeared in 17 matches, making eight starts as a freshman midfielder...tallied four goals and an assist...fired 12 shots on goal...scored a season-best two goals in a Sept. 23 match at UC Santa Cruz...lone assist came in an Oct. 8 conference match against Pacific Union.

Three-year varsity starter as a center-attacking midfielder at San Mateo High School in San Mateo, Calif. ...During his prep career he earned team MVP honors as a freshman and was named an All-County midfielder by the San Mateo Daily Journal in both his junior and senior seasons...as a senior co-captain, Onizuka helped his team win the 2012 CCS co-champion title... in 2013, he was named the Peninsula Athletic League's midfielder of the year in the Bay Division...Named by Prep 2 Prep PAL Bay Division Senior Player of the Year...has also been active on the club scene as a starting midfielder for the Peninsula Extreme for the past 10 years.
