Biography

In only his first freshman season, Carlos developed into the starting point guard for the bulk of the year, starting in 16 of the team's 27 games. Carlos gave us a glimpse of his potential in a Cal Pac Conference matchup against Pacific Union back on January 20, 2011. He scored a season high 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting from the field including 3 of 4 from behind the arc in Menlo's 85-76 victory.

· 2009-10: Defensive Player of the Year. 1st Team All-League. Conference All-Star. Led De La Salle to a 31-2 record. League Champions. North Coast Section Champions. Northern-California Finalists. Ranked 4th in California. Ranked 21st in the Nation.

Parents: Mareh Monroy and Kent Ramirez. Away from the court, Carlos works with his dad at KR Design and Construction. He also has a younger brother Kaiden.
