2020:
Oaks starting second baseman who provided good gap to gap power in the middle of the lineup...Appeared in 23 games, starting 20...Slashed at .224 with five doubles, a home run, and eight RBIs...Swiped a team high five bases on five attempts...Also served as Menlo's closer out of the bullpen, recording a team best three saves...Made seven appearances in total out of the bullpen...Went 1-1 with a 2.35 ERA over 7.2 innings worked...Struck out eight and walked just one...Went 3-5 with a double, a home run, and two RBIs against Vanguard on 2/21...Pitched a scoreless 1-2-3 ninth innings in his pitching debur for the save against Simpson on 1/24...Picked up saves agaisnt Corban and OUAZ as well...Earned his first win against Vanguard after throwing 1.2 innings of relief.
2019:
Appeared in 36 games and made 19 starts during his first season in Navy and White...hit .208 but provided a lot of RBI ability, driving in 18 runs on 15 hits...second on the team with 6 stolen bases...hit his first collegiate home run on Feb. 12 against CSU East Bay, in what technically was his collegiate debut (game began on Feb. 1 but was halted due to weather)...hit a grand slam against William Jessup on April 13.
Previous Experience:
Transfers to Menlo after one season at NCAA Division II Davis and Elkins College of Elkins, West Virginia...Started 31 of 39 games for the Senators...Hit .250 with 9 doubles, a home run, and 17 RBIs...Played prep ball at Saint Mary's High School in Medford, Oregon...In four varsity seasons, hit .414 with 32 doubles, 3 triples, 11 home runs, and 85 RBIs...Also pitched in high school, going 11-2 with a 1.39 ERA with 58 strikeouts and 18 walks.
