Victor Brankovich is an accomplished professional in the field of Sports Performance, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Athletics - Health, Wellness & Performance at his Alma Mater. With a tenure spanning from 2015 to the present, Brankovich has been a driving force behind the initiation and success of the Sports Performance Program.
Brankovich's journey in the realm of sports began with his graduation and degree in Sports Management and a Master's in Exercise Science. His dedication and talent led him to secure a coveted internship with Stanford Sports Performance, where he honed his skills and excelled in his role. Drawing from this invaluable experience, Brankovich brought his expertise in functional training, speed, power, and nutrition to the Oaks Sports Performance program, making a significant impact from its inaugural season in 2015.
In addition to his hands-on contributions, Brankovich has been heavily involved with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2015. Through his dedication and expertise, he was appointed as the Southwest Regional Director for the organization. This esteemed position allowed Brankovich to develop a vast network of college and professional relationships, establishing Menlo College Sports Performance as a coveted destination for sports performance internships and coaching development.
Building upon his extensive background, Brankovich's role expanded in 2023 to encompass the oversight of Sports Medicine, Nutrition, Sports Psychology, and general well-being, ensuring a holistic student-athlete experience at Menlo College.
Prior to his current position, Brankovich made his mark as a high school football player at Woodside High School, continuing his athletic career at the College of San Mateo, where he achieved the distinction of being a 1st Team All-American. His exceptional performance at the College of San Mateo earned him a football scholarship at San Jose State University before ultimately transferring to Menlo College, where he completed his final two years. During his time with the Oaks, Brankovich stood out as a two-time All-Conference player and was honored as the Team M.V.P in 2008, a testament to his skill and leadership as recognized by his teammates.
