Menlo College

Aaron Flores joined the coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in 2020 and works directly with infielders, specifically first basemen, on defense, positioning, and footwork. He is also involved in the recruitment process and helps directly with offensive/defensive drills for both the Varsity and JV teams.

Flores brings experience as both a player and a coach:

• He played on the Menlo College Baseball team after transferring from Monterey Peninsula College in 2018.
• During his 2 years as an Oak, Flores played 1B/UTL and was also a key left-handed pinch hitter in late game situations. Flores ended his collegiate career with a .417 BA and earned the Golden State Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete Award.
• He was a summer coach for the Monterey Waves, a college developmental team, and also for the Menlo Legends youth summer baseball camps.

Flores graduated cum laude from Menlo College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Sports Management. He is currently a graduate student at San Jose State University earning his Master’s of Arts in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management. He is also a graduate assistant in Marketing and Promotions for SJSU Athletics.
