Appeared in 25 games and made 7 starts during his senior season...hit .286 across 35 at bats, while driving in eight runs and scoring seven times...came alive during the season finale, with a 3-4, 4 RBI game against San Diego Christian on April 25.
2018:
Appeared in 27 games and made 18 starts during his second season with Menlo...played primarily in left field while also seeing time at first base...hit .333 for the Oaks with one home run and 10 runs batted in...added six doubles and one triple, while scoring 20 times...first collegiate home run came against William Jessup on March 4.
2017:
In limited playing time, appeared in 12 games and made one start for the Oaks during his freshman season...recorded 3 hits in 10 at bats, including his first RBI at the collegiate level...scored three times.
Scouting Report:
Big, physical catcher who represents the lone Northwest signee in this class. At 6'1, 215 lbs, Thompson has shown great catch and throw skills with occasional power at the plate.
