ROCKLIN, CA – Menlo Women's Soccer delivered a dominant performance on Labor Day Monday, earning a 4-0 victory over Jessup on the road. The Oaks came out firing, scoring all four of their goals within the opening 33 minutes before settling in defensively to secure their second consecutive shutout and victory of the season. It was a complete performance from Menlo, featuring offensive firepower, strong defensive organization, and contributions from across the lineup.

Menlo wasted little time finding the back of the net, with Phillips striking in the opening minutes off an assist from Vasquez Lopez. The goal marked Phillips' fourth of the season in as many games, establishing her as the Oaks' current goal-scoring leader. Just minutes later, Vasquez Lopez doubled the advantage with her first goal of the season, continuing her impact from the central midfield while also recording her third assist of the season.
The Oaks continued their offensive push as Rabara found the back of the net in the 26th minute, followed by Dominguez's goal in the 33rd minute to cap the four-goal outburst. The balanced scoring attack highlighted the depth of Menlo's offense, with three different players earning their first goals of the season while Phillips continued her strong start.
After building the 4-0 advantage, Menlo turned its attention toward maintaining the clean sheet. Cordes recorded one save across the 90 minutes to earn her second consecutive shutout, while the Oaks' defense limited Jessup's opportunities and protected the lead throughout the remainder of the match. Menlo also finished with seven corner kicks compared to three for the Warriors, showcasing the Oaks' ability to consistently generate offensive pressure.
