ATHERTON, CA – Menlo Men's Wrestling Head Coach Zeke Andrade has announced the hiring of Jaden Abas as the program's new Assistant Coach. A Stanford graduate and San Diego native, Abas arrives in Atherton following one of the most accomplished collegiate careers in recent Stanford history and brings a wealth of high-level wrestling experience to the Oaks.

A five-time NCAA Championship qualifier, Abas earned NCAA All-American honors in 2021 while becoming just the second freshman All-American in Stanford program history. He also captured the 2021 Pac-12 Championship at 149 pounds, was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, and helped lead the Cardinal to the first conference team championship in program history. Throughout his career, he collected titles at the Midlands Championships, Southern Scuffle, Menlo Open, and Reno Tournament of Champions while earning numerous wins over nationally ranked opponents.

Abas also distinguished himself in the classroom, earning 2024 Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors, five NWCA Scholar All-American selections, CSC Academic All-America First Team recognition, and All-ACC Academic Team honors during his final season.
