ATHERTON, CA –
Following an emotional Senior Day ceremony, Menlo Men's Tennis took Cartan Tennis Courts one last time this spring and, for six Oaks, collegiate careers were punctuated on a winning note as Duarte Brito, Galien Del Vecchio, Robinson Pelluault, Asger Emil Ildor, Ian Ramiro Perez, and Erkin Tootoonchi Moghaddam all helped Menlo earn the 5-2 victory over Jessup on Monday.

Each Senior Fittingly Contributes To 5-2 Triumph
Doubles play was dominated by the Oaks, starting with the reunion of Asger Emil Ildor and Perez from exactly one month prior yielded a 6-2 victory over Joren Stevens and Leo Pham on Court 1. From there, Tootoonchi Moghaddam and Brito took down Caleb Poling and Tanner Sitanggang 6-3 on Court 2 then the French Connection of Pelluault and Del Vecchio celebrated a 6-3 result in prime fashion over Henrique Levy and Lucas Pham 6-3 on Court 3.

Five seniors would then compete in their final singles matches of the season where Del Vecchio quickly blanked Leo Pham 6-0, 6-0 on Court 3 and Brito used a strong serve on match point to best Sitanggang 6-0, 6-2 on Court 4 . The sounds of cheering teammates continued to ring as Perez closed a 6-2, 6-0 defeat of Levy with fine net play on Court 6. The last Oak to log a singles win, Tootoonchi Moghaddam, did so in a 10-point tiebreaker that saw him go up 7-3 initially before he left it all on the court in the last point that led him to the 6-4, 0-6, 10-3 victory.

Season In Review
With memorable matchups throughout, the 2026 Menlo Men's Tennis campaign had its share of highlights. The program's fourth season to date opened with victories over American River (Feb. 6) and Fresno Pacific (Feb. 7), before the Oaks' first sweep of a conference opponent in Jessup on Feb. 20.

An ensuing stretch that saw Menlo win five of seven matches was marked by a 4-3 comeback against Illinois State on Mar. 13 that served as the Oaks' first ever win over a NCAA Division I opponent. Menlo closed out the season with a pair of home victories for the 4-1 record in Atherton and 7-7 overall.
