Game One: Menlo 6 - 2 Chaminade

Menlo set the tone early and never looked back in the opener, delivering a composed and complete performance from first pitch to final out. The Oaks struck in the second inning with disciplined at-bats and timely execution, as Emma Medina came around to score before Makayla Mentzer ripped an RBI single down the line. Moments later, Tacia Kahalewai lifted a sacrifice fly to make it 2-0, giving Menlo early control.

The Oaks continued to apply pressure throughout the game, and when Chaminade threatened to close the gap, Menlo responded with authority. In the sixth inning, the heart of the lineup delivered the knockout punch. Alina Perez and Sierra Pasco came through with back-to-back RBI singles to extend the lead to 4-1. Menlo piled on in the seventh, stringing together a flurry of hits, including key contributions from Demi Silva and Kahalewai, to stretch the advantage to 6-2.

In the circle, Rosaline Torralva set the tone with a steady 2.0 outing, keeping Chaminade off balance and limiting big innings. Lela Yslava came in to close things out with confidence, while the defense backed them up with timely, clean play. It was a balanced, high-energy effort that gave the Oaks a strong start to the day.

Game Two: Menlo 9 - 8 Chaminade 8

If game one was controlled, game two was pure chaos, and the Oaks thrived in it. Menlo came out firing once again, with Lucy Brooks and Alina Perez working walks ahead of Sierra Pasco, who delivered a booming two-run double to jumpstart the offense. The Oaks kept rolling in the second, using aggressive baserunning and clutch hitting from Aleatha Buchner and Perez to build a 4-0 lead.

But the game quickly turned into a back-and-forth battle. Chaminade surged ahead capitalizing on a string of miscues, only for Menlo to respond with grit. Perez blasted an RBI triple in the fourth, and Pasco followed with a sacrifice fly to tie the game at 6-6. The Oaks refused to let the moment slip, answering again in the sixth when Pasco delivered a clutch RBI single to knot the score at 7-7.

With the tension building, Menlo found a way in extras. In the eighth inning, relentless pressure paid off as the Oaks forced defensive errors that led to two crucial runs. Holding a 9-7 lead, the Oaks turned to their pitching and defense to finish it. Torralva delivered key innings to keep Menlo in striking distance, and Yslava stepped in to close it out under pressure. Despite a late push from Chaminade, the Oaks held firm, securing a thrilling 9-8 extra-inning victory and completing the Sunday sweep in dramatic fashion.
