Game 1: PLNU 11 - 2 Menlo

Point Loma Nazarene seized early momentum in the opener, capitalizing on a six-run second inning fueled by timely hitting and defensive miscues. The Sea Lions loaded the bases and strung together RBI hits that broke the inning open. Menlo turned to multiple pitchers in relief to stabilize the inning, but the early deficit proved difficult to overcome.

The Oaks answered in the bottom of the second when Oliver Hogan launched a solo home run to get Menlo on the board. In the fourth inning, Jack Nammack sparked another rally with a double down the left-field line before DJ Cardinal drove him in with a single to center field. Despite the offensive flashes, Point Loma continued to add insurance runs in the third, sixth, and eighth innings while Menlo's pitching staff battled to limit further damage.

Defensively, Menlo recorded several key outs in the outfield and infield to slow additional rallies, but the Sea Lions' early offensive surge held up as the Oaks fell 2-11 in the opener.

Game 2: PLNU 19 - 8 Menlo

The second game again saw Point Loma strike first, plating four runs in the opening inning behind a series of singles and a two-run double. Menlo responded in the second when Jack van Gorkum blasted a two-run homer to left field, cutting the deficit in half and igniting the Oaks' offense.

Menlo continued to battle back in the third. Tyson Brown singled to start the rally and Shane Aldridge followed with a double to put two runners in scoring position. Noah Pang brought home a run with a sacrifice fly before Daniel Aguilera delivered a two-run double to tie the game at 5-5. Brown later added a solo homer in the fourth, while the Oaks showed resilience at the plate despite falling behind again as the Sea Lions produced multiple multi-run innings.

In the seventh inning, Menlo added one final spark when Samuel Brewer connected for a two-run home run to left-center after Casey Skett worked a walk to lead off the frame. Despite the late offense and several solid defensive plays throughout the contest, Point Loma's continued pressure at the plate ultimately secured a 8-19 win in the series finale.
