Offense, Defense Surge In Front Of Home Crowd
Very close through the first 30 points of the match, the Oaks built a 20-17 advantage with the help of kills from two seniors, middle blocker Janet Moala and outside hitter/opposite Giulia Marinelli, before scoring five of the opening set's final seven points to win 25-21 on back-to-back kills from senior middle blocker/opposite Maya Saole-Su'e and junior outside hitter Fuka Kikuchi.

The Menlo seniors were once again instrumental in building a 7-2 lead out of the second set gate then it was six unanswered points, three of which were blocks involving Moala, that provided separation for the eventual 25-17 victory. Though Jessup led by four at 19-15 in the third frame, the Oaks' resilience showed as they fought back to force five ties and lastly secure the win on a kill by Kikuchi, a block shared by Moala and freshman setter Jolianna Salazar, and a Warriors attack error at 29-27.
