ATHERTON, CA – The Menlo Men's Volleyball program has recently been honored with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, recognizing programs across the country that have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
 
The recognition tops off a strong and impressive inaugural season in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), a conference known for featuring some of the top collegiate volleyball programs across the nation. The Oak's achievement highlights the program's dedication to excellence not only on the court, but in the classroom as well.
 
Head Coach Todd Hollenbeck expressed his pride on the team's performance:
"This is a proud moment for me and my staff and a major achievement for our program. The boys showed not only can we compete and win at the highest level in the MPSF but we can we do the same in the classroom."
