San Rafael, CA – After competing in their first match of the season, the Oaks went across the bay to take on Dominican University at the Castellucci Family Tennis Center, battling hard but ultimately falling 5-2.

Battling in the Singles
The Oaks secured two victories in singles play. Milana Hrudka earned a 6-2, 6-4 win at the No. 3 spot, while Yousra Hidass delivered a clutch three-set victory at No. 5, winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. Despite strong efforts, Menlo fell in other singles contests, with Lea Mocher dropping a close match at No. 4 in a 10-7 third-set tiebreak. In doubles action, Dominican was able to take all three matches to to finish out the night. Livia Harper and Andrea Viasceanu was able to battle at the no. 1 spot but would fall 3-6. Despite dropping their first two matches of the season, there is a lot of potential for improvement heading into the next matches coming up.
