Rocklin, CA – Menlo Women's Tennis was able to make history by securing their first-ever victory as an NCAA Division II program with a commanding 4-0 sweep over the Warriors of Jessup University. This is the Oaks first win of the season and will look to build onto the momentum as the season progresses.

Sweeping the Court
The day started off with Livia Harper and Andrea Viasceanu earning a dominant 6-3 victory in the first spot of doubles. Milana Hrudka and Anthea Weiland also was able to secure another 6-3 victory in the second spot of the lineup. Yousra Hidass and Lea Mocher closed out the doubles with a clean 6-0 sweep In their match to earn the first point of the day, giving the Oaks a 1-0 lead.

The Oaks were able to sweep the Warriors in singles play with Yousra Hidass finishing the first match 6-0 in both sets to earn the second point for Menlo. Anthea Weiland was the second Oak to finish in two sets with a score of 6-1 in both sets. Lea Mocher was the final Oak to finish the day out by earning a 6-2, and 6-1 victory to assist in the Oaks' first victory this season, a huge milestone to start the season off and for the program.
