Game 1 Menlo 0 - 10 CUI
Menlo struggled to find its offensive rhythm in the opening game of the doubleheader. Despite collecting eight hits, the Oaks were unable to push a run across against a strong Concordia pitching effort.
The Golden Eagles took advantage of defensive miscues and timely hitting, gradually pulling away for a 10-0 victory. Richard Kiel started on the mound for Menlo, pitching six innings while allowing six runs on six hits.
Game 2: Menlo 4 -3 CUI
Menlo bounced back in the second game, striking first with a two-run first inning. Samuel Brewer's leadoff double set the tone, and a pair of defensive miscues by Concordia allowed two runs to score.
Concordia chipped away at the lead, eventually tying the game in the sixth inning. However, Menlo responded in dramatic fashion in the seventh. With two outs and runners in scoring position, Jaden Fulsher delivered a clutch two-run hit into left field that was ruled an error, to put the Oaks ahead 4-3. Tellez returned to the mound in the bottom of the inning, shutting the door and securing the victory.
