Battle Tested

From the opening tip, the Oaks showed poise against a tough Hawaii Hilo squad. Menlo's defense set the tone early, forcing 12 turnovers and converting them into 12 points. Despite a back-and-forth contest that featured three ties and a lead change, Menlo stayed composed, limiting mistakes with just 7 turnovers of their own.

The Oaks' depth played a crucial role, with 15 points coming from the bench. Their defensive intensity helped hold Hawaii Hilo to just two made three-pointers in the game. Menlo's ability to execute at the free-throw line was a difference-maker, as they went 19-of-30 from the stripe, sealing the game in the final minutes.

With a flawless Hawaii trip behind them, the Oaks improve to 11-9 overall and 7-6 in PacWest play, climbing the conference standings. Their defensive grit and late-game execution have them set for a strong finish to the season.
