SANTA BARBARA, CA – Menlo Men's Basketball had 12 different Oaks score as the team delivered season-highs in field goal percentage (.479) and free throw percentage (.909) during Saturday's Pacific West Conference matchup with Westmont, but many second-chance opportunities allowed the Warriors to come away with the 90-71 win inside their own Murchison Gymnasium.

Though junior guard
Marvin Brumfield knocked down a triple in Menlo's first shot attempt of the contest, a 12-5 start for Westmont was later extended to 21-8. Brumfield and sophomore guard

Max Sheridan's basket with under seven minutes left in the opening half. Sophomore guard
Jonathan Moxie delivered five quick points in the late stages, but the Warriors ended the period with six of the final nine points for a 47-31 halftime advantage.
A 7-0 run by the home team early in the second half was countered by freshman forward
Luke Wieskamp's layup, free throws from junior guard
Devon Woods, and a 3-pointer off the hands of senior forward
JaMaal Unuakhalu. However, eight straight from Westmont shifted the momentum back their way toward the eventual 90-71 final.
