SANTA CRUZ, CA – Quickly finding their rhythm shooting from distance on Tuesday inside West Field House, Menlo Women's Basketball knocked down a season-high 12 3-pointers en route to an 87-80 win over UC Santa Cruz.

Up 25-16 heading to the second, the Oaks pushed the margin to as many as 15 midway through during a stretch highlighted by senior guard
Alberte Frisch's triple and a three-point play from Carter. Though UC Santa Cruz had it down to six following an 8-2 end to the half, Menlo pushed the difference back to 15 late in the third on a 10-0 surge in which the Banana Slugs attempted just one shot.
Frisch's sixth 3-pointer of the game began the fourth with the Oaks up 68-50 and soon five quick points from redshirt freshman guard
Nadia Brown pushed her team's largest lead at 20 points. The final three minutes were a challenge as UCSC used a 13-0 burst to cut it to single digits before Carter and Allen free throws helped seal the 87-80 win.
