5/17/2024 9:04:00 AM

Atherton, CA- Menlo Men's Volleyball wrapped up another strong season under head coach Todd Hollenbeck. In the programs last year in the NAIA the boys would finish the year ranked sixth in the nation including multiple wins over ranked programs. Now, with the NCAA awaiting the Oaks, coach Hollenbeck has continued to bring in reinforcements with Thomas Fanic being the latest addition to the roster!

Fanic hails from Saint-Jean-De-Védas, France where he played his high school equivalent of volleyball at Lycée Jean Mermoz in Montpellier. He most recently competed at the college level at Barton College. This past season saw an influx of young, promising talent fill the roster but Fanic brings a proven track record of success at the collegiate level. In 2017 he was a U18 National Champion to highlight an impressive career before even setting foot on a college court. As a college player, he has earned numerous accolades including being named a 2021 NAIA Heart All-Conference member, a 2023 NCAA Conference Carolina All-Conference member and most recently a 2024 NCAA Conference Carolina All-Conference member.

The 6'5 middle blocker will provide an instant boost at the net for Menlo and will be studying Information Systems as he prepares to step onto the court inside Haynes-Prim Pavilion!
