Fullerton, CA -- The Oaks bounce back after their loss to the Vanguard Lions yesterday and come out on top. The match on Saturday afternoon against The Hope International Royals was a three set sweep that showcased the skill and dominance the team is capable of. Coming out of the gate red hot, the Oaks took a commanding first set lead of 25-14. Following the dominant win, the team went on to take the remaining two sets and win the last remaining game of their regular season. Menlo will now prepare for the GSAC Championship Tournament taking place in just one more week! 

Senior Showcase

A stand-out performance from the Oaks came from senior outside hitter Konrad Stoklosinski. He was able to pick up thirteen kills and hit an average of 0.370 across the three sets played. Dylan Cohan, the other graduating senior on the Oaks team, also had a great afternoon with seven kills and hitting 0.545 percent. While the hitters were helping out immensely offensively, points coming from the service line sealed the game away. The Oaks were able to tally an incredible seventeen service aces throughout the game with only eight service errors! With stats like that from the line, Menlo cruised to the finish line.

With the victory secured and the regular season coming to an end, the Oaks now look to the postseason. The Men's Volleyball team has had a great season and are ready to take their talents to the GSAC tournament where they will battle in a single elimination bracket.

The team will get a short break and will return in a week for the GSAC tournament next weekend in Santa Clarita, CA hosted at The Master's University beginning on Thursday, April 18th.
