Total Team Domination

The second half saw the Oaks maintain their lead as they controlled the boards and stifled the Redhawks' offense.

Simpson struggled against Menlo's defensive intensity, shooting just 35% from the field and a mere 11% from beyond the arc. In contrast, Menlo displayed offensive efficiency, finishing with a shooting percentage of 42% and a remarkable 40% from three-point range. The Oaks outrebounded Simpson 47-30, with 15 offensive boards leading to 8 second-chance points.

Defensively, Menlo's 8 steals and 3 blocks disrupted Simpson's rhythm, forcing 15 turnovers that resulted in 20 points for the Oaks. While the Redhawks relied heavily on their bench for 28 points, they were unable to overcome Menlo's balanced attack and superior execution.
